Championship Pairs Green point event

Entry fee: normal table money at club heats; £8 per player at the Semifinal; £6 at the Final.
The scale of Green Point awards for this event provides for a maximum of 7 for the winners reducing down to ¼ at 21st place in the Final subject to a total original entry at the club heats of at least 151 pairs.
50% qualify from the club heats for the two-session Semifinal, where all players must have Hertfordshire as county of allegiance.
Qualifiers must pre-enter for the Semifinal - (use form enclosed). Pairs who have not pre-entered are unlikely to be accepted.
The top 24 pairs in the Semifinal will be sent entry forms for the all-play-all Final where the leading 4 available pairs down to a limit of 8th place will be sponsored by Hertfordshire to play in the Corwen Trophy at Hinckley on 31 May/1 June 2008 (HBA will pay the entry fees but no accommodation or travelling expenses).
